Though I spent a decent amount of time by my neighbors at the Hookahdome...I, unfortunately, didn't get to sample your traveling bar. <br/>I have been researching Absinthe for a while now...I've read a lot of FAQs and random posts. I've learned that the "infusion method" does not make true absinthe...which I'm honestly not concerned about. I enjoy and entertain the idea of making a strange "potion." And I have no intentions of investing in a still at this point in my life. <br/>I found this website: http://www.deadflesh.org/fear/absinthe.html <br/>I'm curious if it was created by one of your camp's members-- for whatever reason, I’m intuiting that it was not. Either way, however, I am curious if you all use a similar infusion method or do you actually distill your absinthe? <br/>I'm thinking about trying it for kicks...unless anyone more knowledgeable about this stuff tells me it is dangerous-- I know wormwood isn’t something to play around with heedlessly. Have browsed the web a couple of times, coming up with more contrasting info about absinithe than I ever wanted to know. I would like to make my own. I know very little about distilling or the other method you mentioned (I can't even remember the word!). What is the best resource that you've found? Should i be consulting a second source, like a book preferably, to learn about distillation?
