I stopped by your camp last year (2004) on the night of the burn...had a great time. Thanks for the drink.
I now have my own bottle of Abstininthe and was hoping someone might be able to guide me to a place I could purchase the same type of bottle you used to add water over the sugar, and also maybe abstininthe spoon.
Thanks,
Chad

Re: Where to get.....
Thu, February 17, 2005 - 6:44 PMWe were just using Sun tea jugs that you can get at high end kitchen supply stores for around $20.00 or so. Real absinthe water dispensers are in the $200 range or more.
You can get spoons on Ebay. The antiques are expensive, of course. If you just want a copy I have seen them for as little as $5.00 -

Re: Where to get.....
Sat, April 30, 2005 - 8:50 AMAn authentic Absinthe fountain would be a steal for 200 bucks. I've seen them in the $5000.00 range. The "real" fountains were made somewhere around the year 1900 remember...
Personally I could give a crap if its an actual antique If I could find a knock off for a reasonable price I'd probably jump on it. Even those seem hard to come by...
