I missed out and I feel bad. Next year I'm planning to have the list of people/camps that I should visit and say hello no matter what.

I finally made it by on Sunday night, and I'm glad I did -- I finally got to try absinthe after a few years' curiosity. Definitely worthwhile -- I spent an hour or so on feeverte.org learning more about it last night.

BTW, I'm Chris the Sound Geek from Hookahdome. Hope we weren't too loud for you, and I'm glad some of you made it by. We really need to figure out a way to take care of our neighbors a bit more next year, and make sure you can get in if you want to.

Yes and had some crazy potent almond absinthe that I am convinced you made to try to get me so twisted I would shed my clothes and run in circles naked and chanting "yay for absinthe" but ha on you becuase it didn't work...

...well at least not right away and not at your camp and it was more like stumbling around in what were meant to be circles.

I stopped by...sniff. sniff. they were closed and you weren't there...

i ran into someone i think is named liz at the NYC decom and she said to check out this spot on tribe.net so i'm here! she remembered me from abstininthe (and i her)... she also told me there's some fun rowdy santa marauding going on in nyc next weekend. i'm 100 miles north but if i can make it to the city (and find a santa suit) i'll check it out! sounds great!!!

I was with Acaplaya, the jazz vocal septet that took over your bar for about twenty minutes the night before the Burn. I had one of the tamer flavors-- apple, I think. We're definitely coming by again next year. Salut!

I came by my first night on the playa. Cool digs and even better were the people! I tried some "camp cheer" and got woozie... a beautiful woman and man offered up some water and juice and a comfy place to sit. They made me feel right at home. It was a beautiful introduction to my first burn! :)
