Hey there Abstininthe!!...first off, serious bummer about that fine...'entrapment' is deffinitely the word for that rubbish...like a crime that would have never even existed/ happened if the cops didn't set one up first themselves, yup, I bet those lawyers for burners guys could provide adivce if anything..

my recollections...early in the week (look at the map, WHERE is Abstininthe?!!!)..arrive just before evening, Paul and Jason (whom I call Thurston) are serving drinks and chatting amicably with all. I have a bit of Raw (my favorite)...and the The BURNING BAND! comes busting through playing ring of fire! stoked, my birthday comes on thursday and if any moment the whole week felt like someone singing 'happy birthday' to me it was that right there, period.

after numerous inspired conversations throughout the week at the 'A', a chorus of hippie girls burst forth into the most amazingly soft and lilting 'gospel' ( I don't know how else to describe it) song I've ever heard...I've learned that some people prefer A Capella and shun megaphones..my bad...

after the Burn a few verses of Paul/ Mansects - Eat my head serenade my head after a lengthy and High Larious French-Man Impersonation...Eat my head will be stuck in my dome (as is/ was whiskey and whores from 2006) all f______ n year long and for this I thank you all! - Jesse
